• Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting common plumbing issues
• Support the installation of water heaters, water treatment systems, water lines, and major plumbing fixtures

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be eligible to register as a Maryland plumbing apprentice
• Backflow certification not required but encouraged within first year

• Field-based work at residential and light commercial job sites
• Indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to varying weather conditions
• Occasionally tight or physically demanding workspaces

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks (e.g., bending, kneeling, climbing ladders)
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• May work extended hours, evenings, or weekends as needed
• Must be able to operate standard tools and equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation

• Assess and diagnose common plumbing malfunctions
• Troubleshoot and repair pipe and pipeline systems
• Install Water Heaters, Water Treatment, Water Lines and all major plumbing fixtures
• Prepare written work cost estimates for clients

• Previous experience in residential plumbing required
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Maryland Backflow Certification required within 90 days of employment
• Maryland Journeyman or Master Plumber certification or equivalent demonstrated work experience

• In the field both residential and light commercial

• Ability to operate a personal computer and related equipment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions and may be exposed to verbal and/or physical confrontations.
